Aging Life Care Services in the DC Metro Area
Aging Grace Advisors is an aging life care advisory service for families in the DC metro area including Bethesda, Rockville, Potomac, Chevy Chase, Arlington, McLean and Washington, DC. We give families a small, dedicated team of advocates for an aging parent or loved one, who coordinate care, communicate clearly, and follows through on the details that usually get dropped.
Most families come to us after something has already gone wrong. A fall. A hospital stay. A phone call that starts with “I don’t know what to do.” That’s the moment we’re built for. But we work just as often with people who simply want an experienced advocate in their corner before a crisis ever happens.

Do You Need an Aging Life Care Advisor?
You might benefit from an aging life care advisor if you’re an adult child trying to coordinate a parent’s care from a distance, managing your own career and family at the same time, or simply feeling like no one is there watching. We also work directly with individuals who don’t have family nearby to help, or who want an experienced advocate in their corner before things reach a crisis point.
We work with clients throughout the Washington, DC metro area. There’s no single age or diagnosis that defines who we help. If you’re asking “what happens when they need more support than I can give,” that’s the conversation to start.
Frequently Asked Questions
What does an aging life care advisor actually do?
It depends entirely on the family. For some clients, it’s medical appointment advocacy and care coordination. For others, it’s transportation, companionship, or simply being the one consistent point of contact. The starting point for almost every family is the same question: what’s keeping you up at night about your parent, and how can we take that off your plate?
Do you only step in for serious medical situations?
No. Some clients need daily, hands-on coordination. Others need someone available for occasional check-ins and peace of mind. We build the plan around what’s actually needed, not a fixed package.
What if my parent or loved one isn't ready to accept help?
This is common. We’re experienced at connecting with people who don’t think they need help yet. Instead of pushing services right away, we focus on building a relationship and helping them feel comfortable with us first. Once they’re at ease, they tend to become more open to accepting support and start to see the benefits for themselves.
Many families reach out only after a hospitalization or a fall, once denial is no longer an option. If you’re noticing early signs of a problem, it’s worth starting the conversation before a crisis forces the issue.
What if we need a little of all of the above?
All clients are different and so are their needs. Reach out to discuss what you most need support with so we can discuss what that looks like for your situation.
